Avril Whitney - A Poem a Day for 2020
In 2020, I made a commitment to finally getting my poetry out in front of people. I had been a "closet poet" for years, after accidentally falling in love with poetry while in college.
It was a remarkable discipline to post a poem every single day and I experienced the entire range of feelings about it from inspiration to despair. It was completely worth doing.
The collection of 2020 poems may even turn into a book. For now, these poems will remain available on this website under poetry back up pages 1-19, and on Instagram at avril.whitney.
