POEM #261 FOR POEM A DAY FOR 2020

There are definitely times when I feel like there is more than one version of me co-existing in this body!!

Dance is forever and always my salvation!

I appreciate my mind but it can be so wonderful to let all the mental chatter go!

It is so lovely to be valued and appreciated not only for what I do or give but who I am.  I think this is important. Especially because I have been in relationship with narcissistic folks. In service, filling a role but not really seen. Not fun. 

Thank goodness that love is a renewable resource!

A journey (life) with good company is such a blessing! 

Ever felt like this? 

The relationship in this poem can actually be a relationship to almost anything - person, place, thing, job, role, etc. It is really about transformation. 

This poem from 2015 reminded me that I have encountered this tipping point, teetered on this edge many times!

Ya, well it's over-rated anyway :)

Today I came across this little experiment from 1999 and it made me smile. What a journey it is to know my worth! Still discovering this every day :)

One warm night, towards the end of summer, I was feeling so yucky and I wandered onto the deck. The stars were out and being beautiful and I had a tangible experience of being healed by their light. It was pretty cool.

Originally written while considering a meeting between potential romantic partners, I realized that this poem can apply to any meeting. Each time we meet someone there is an opportunity to rewrite the script and go for healing. 

What to do when someone throws something nasty my way? If I can, declaring peace is always a good option!

Progress, not perfection, right?
