POEM #341 FOR POEM A DAY FOR 2020

I still have a lot to learn about relationship! 

This one from back in 2017 made me laugh today. Although, I am not sure I have this figured out yet! LOL

This poem came out as an explanation for those days of grace when I feel like a different, better person for no reason. 

An ode to some of my favourite beings on earth! Thank goodness for trees! How I do love them!

Cool, calm and collected is sometimes deceiving! Also, having more fun with visual poems :)

This kind of pain is humbling. Much compassion to anyone who has suffered this way. 

This time of year always make me look inward and forward :)

Oh for goodness sake! What are you going to do with heartbreak except turn it into a poem?! 

I found this cute one from 2008 and thought I would include it in the last few poems posted in 2020 - getting close to the finish line now!

The idea of life being a spiral speaks to me. I often travel the same territory but higher up and with more awareness. 

This poem from 2016 was inspired by a Core Connexion workshop in which I was imagining myself planted in the earth upside down. 

Sometimes it feels like I am not ever going to turn the corner - but I always do eventually! 

I seem to have an unfortunate knack for attracting this kind of relationship!

I am lucky enough to be owned by two talented, spell-weaving cats! 

I love journaling - it is a great tool. However, it can take courage to stay with the process!!

There is such power in being compassionately witnessed! 

What a contrast between the fire inside and the cold outside!

This poem is about a wonderful tree I had the honour to love and be loved by. She was amazing! I still miss her. Sometimes only tree wisdom will do. 

You could safely say that it has been stressful lately!!

Celebrating the light in all of us today no matter where we are or what beliefs we hold!!
