POEM #160 FOR POEM A DAY FOR 2020

Sometimes this is good news, sometimes bad news. 

There can be more important things that sleep, apparently. 

This poem is based on an actual experience I had one day with the ocean. It literally swept over me that we can charge the water in our body with love and vibrate it out into the world. 

I have noticed the truth of this over the years - just how revealing a kiss can be. 

I am very  blessed to enjoy being a mother - I always say it is because I have the best kids! Every word of this poem is true. 

Truly it can be our vulnerability that draws us together in meaningful conneciton.

Wow! The power of attraction is one heck of a force to be reckoned with!

It's really too bad that fantasy is not a real meal. 

This lovely spring moment was so beautiful. Thought I better post this poem before the season turns a corner into summer. 

The dangers of loving a man made of stone! Fortunately I didn't stay made of rock myself forever :)

I wrote this poem after I had children and gained perspective on the parent child relationship. 

An exploration of roots and connection inspired by recent lovely experiences with dancers I share the world with. 

It is certainly tricky when the walk and the talk do not add up!

It's great that we are all "one" but how handy to have bodies so that we can play together with each other :)

Inspired by a recent sweet and soothing moment listening to the rain. 

This poem is about those moments when faith has evaporated and left only fear behind!

Sometimes, it's just that simple!

This poem was written in 2000 when I was pregnant and amazed by the entire process!

Narcissists are very tricky to relate to! I know they are injured people who deserve compassion but they can do a lot of damage!
